Coriolanus was imported by Carbondale Farms in
2003.  He was approved by the Rheinland Pfalz-saar as
a breeding stallion in 2004. Coriolanus made his "A"  
show circuit debut in 2007, he has been consistently
jumping clear rounds at level 3 (3' to 3'3").  Coriolanus
shows great scope and athletic ability, with great
potential to be a wonderful show horse in all aspects.

His sire, Contender, is known for his show jumping
abilities and his progeny.  Contender won the 1987
Adelheidedorf stallion performance test with a jumping
index of 142.62.  This sire was ranked thired in the list
of world's best show jumping sires in 2004.  He has
since produced over 80 approved sons and 59 state
premium mares.

Coriolanus's dam is by equally as well known stallion
Landadel.  Landadel was champion of his 100 day test
at Medingen in 1985.  He is regarded as the most
important son of Landgraf and carries a double cross
of the Thoroughbred stallion Landykiller.  At the 2001
Worldcups Landadel was the only sire to have
produced representatives in both the dressage and
show jumping finals.
